Chase Courtland is on a mission - to finally reveal his true feelings and seduce his best friend, Logan Moore. Chase has quietly watched Logan move from one failed relationship to another. For twelve years, Chase has loved as well as been Logan’s shoulder to cry on. Being away in Vegas for a year has been pure misery for Chase. A day before Chase is to move back to San Diego, he discovers that Logan confessed to loving Chase but was afraid to inform Chase for fear of rejection. Armed with this joyous news, Chase is more determined than ever to claim Logan’s heart.

Kissing Joan Collins is a well-written beautiful friends-to-lovers romance. The engaging characters are realistically mature, endowed with common sense. Logan is searching for a acceptable long term relationship. Secretly loving Chase, who has never expressed any feelings beyond friendship towards him, Logan attempts to find happiness with someone else. Chase never had a long-term relationship with any man because the only man he wanted that way was Logan. Chase and Logan are dealing with a double-edged sword. If either man tries for a relationship and fails, he is left broken-hearted, along with the loss of his best friend. Fortunately, both men are emotionally on the same page allowing happiness to overrule their insecurities.

Lex Valentine has created a spectacular saga blended with exquisite love scenes that lovingly melts your heart as well as other parts of the anatomy.
